Buccaneers choose OJ Howard with the 19th Pick

OJ Howard, Tight End from Alabama University, has been selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 19th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. OJ Howard, who was expected to go with the 6th overall selection to the Jets in almost every mock draft, slid down to the 19th overall pick. Despite every one expecting the Buccaneers to select a runningback such as Dalvin Cook, the Buccaneers are filling another need with this pick. Howard will be a great target for 3rd year quarterback Jameis Winston, finally giving Winston another solid target. Doug Martin, the Buccaneer’s running back, has had a great offseason, thus allowing the team to pass on another running back.
